Lord I thank you
for the hope of Christmas Eve
its such a great reminder
there’s more than what we see.
I pray as we gather together
Your presence You will share
as we give glory to the lamb, our sins to bear.
Lord you take what’s small
and magnify it to your glory
and that is what we see
in the Christmas story.
It starts in a manger
our King on a humble throne
You came here to die
so we’d never be alone.
Throughout your story
you use what we least expect
then they turn it all around, give it all to you
and their story turns out best.
So Lord I pray as we celebrate
this very Holy night
we’d give you every bit
dedicate our whole lives.
I pray over the coming year
that nothing would remain the same
that you’d transform every heart
in your very Godly way.
I pray we’d be a family
dedicated only to You
humbly expecting and waiting
for you to do what only you can do.
I thank you for Christmas
this is where it all begins
our savior in a manger
all the glory to who He is.
